Christmas in Gizzy

There is no escaping surf spots in Gisborne, it is the first city in the World to see the sunrise everyday, and has some pretty bitchin sunsets.....






The great sunsets stuck around for Christmas, and our carefully selected wine was enjoyed and some not so special beers...and some champagne.....





Boxing Day saw small waves...we managed a few waves at the sperm whale grave before a freak rain storm drove us to opening day of Golden Compass, a great movie (under 2hours even!!)
