Wine n' Waves in Napier
We made it through the ghost towns of South Taranaki, over the winding roads on the outskirts of Mordor (Lord of the Rings film site, Tongariro National Park), stopped at one of many well-equipped playgrounds and emerged in Hawkes Bay....
In Napier, the Art Deco Capitol of the World, we sampled wine and waves...after carefully selecting our Christmas vintage, among others, we headed North to Gisborne for a proper Kiwi Christmas!
