Ayuthaya

We travelled north, by train for about $0.65 each, to view the diverse ruins of the old Thailand capitol Authaya. THe train ride started with some classic monk shots and Sally, not being very buddhist .....

Ayuthaya served as the cultural center for Thailand from the 13th to 18th century. Today it is a maze of temples, wats, ruins and hawkers. We were able to capture some epic phots and treat ourselves to "ancient ice cream" at then end of the day with our tuk-tuk.
