Transition in Bangkok

We have encountered a definite trend in the departure of guests. The sad occasions seem to coincide with elections, which means no alcohol served : ( Trying to mask our pain, we toasted waters with Patrick at the night market on the eve of his departure (a week later we would encounter the same fate with Meredith's departure). Although we did capture some quintessential Bangkok views: River Taxi self photos, Thai Ice Tea in Chattachuck Market and beautiful Bangkok sunsets (the upside to pollution).....

Wow, they should do that for elections in the US too. Then maybe they'd get the count right.

Glad you guys are making the best of things!

sniff. note to self: buy lottery tickets in hopes of winning & meeting up w/ you again in Europe only NOT COMING BACK. Even if there is an election alcohol ban. One good thing about being back - burritos.
