Hue.....Culture and the War

Hue is the perfect mix between history, a bustling city, and a cunilary center of Vietnam.
The Lady Padagoda Is not only an icon representing Hue, but the entire country..

These Vietamese style hats are special in Hue, because of the stories told inside them....

We love Huda beer on the river...

This creepy stone structrue is the tallest flag post in Vietnam, signifying the importance of the old capital...

Driving a cyclo is harder than it looks. The old men who drive them are amazing, especially this one.....

I was just tring to fit in @ one of the numerous 18th century thombs that litter the countryside around Hue...

So sorry I have fallen out of rhythym and have not been staying on top of your blog. OMG!! (DO I sould like a teenie bopper?) I so wish I was there.I continually am amazed at the beauty and can not believe these structures have survived all these years and war! Food and beer, what else do you need. Well, cute skirts and stuff, oh and love. By the way...love you guys and think of you soooo much. Thanks for keeping us all updated on your adventures. By the way it is still really cold and wet here. YUK!
