We loved it here....This place gave me a crash course on Renaissance period.
"The Dou(r)mo" is Florence. It is the 4th biggest church in the world behind, St Peters, one in London, and one in Africa somewhere.......It truely is an architectural masterpiece.....

And this city is all about DAVID.......Nice work MIKE it truely is an impressive work of art.....If art impresses ed it must really be good....."No Foto....", right....
that Ed guy is everywhere....I mean david.....shocking resemblance..
I think this city really likes statues of naked men........

My favorite teen age mutant ninjaturtle, Donatello, rendered this amazing statue of Mary Magdelene
And of course the Ponte Vecchio, cool bridge. Great for pictures. Sooo romantic.....

These doors are super famous....Some guy spent practicaly his whole life making them (his name was Ghiberti and he spent over 40 years on this door depicting the Sacrifice of Issac).......Another private viewing for Saled
Oh did I mention Sally bought some stuff here....Really getting back to her Italian roots....Pretty cool in the coat.....Jean, Sally says you can borrow it as much as you want.....
The food, molto buono.......Definetely the best we had in Italy....Calzone....

These guys are everywhere, ruthless, and always moving around avoiding the cops......But they have great knock offs.
