Pompeii

Pompeii WAS an amazing city.......Until Mt Vesuvis buried it under 30 meters of pumice and ash....The preservation of the original architecture and art is uncomparable....The Volcano has always been and always will be looming over the people of Napoli and its surrounding area.....

These are molds of human bodies made in the 1700's by the first to discover the buried city. Hundreds of these casts were made, many of which were in the same position as they were when the eruption occured.

Man's best friend.....

These unsuspecting tourists may meet the same fate.....Who knows when Vesuvious will erupt again....

This was the Brothel in Roman times, as you can see the lines to get in are still long....

Sally got some part time work...Trip funds were getting low...

This was the road crossing when it was rainy out.....Super intresting hw advanced there culture was back then...

Peace...

These were political slogans written on the wall ilegally, in support or against one party or another, crazy they made it through the years...Rome watchers know what I am talking bout..

Burglar protection, Now I see where the Mexicans got the glass bottle idea....

Venus. The Frescos were amazingly preserved.....

Killer Red poppies

The Romans were super dirty old men.......No holds barred.
