ROMA

Roma, was the experience of a lifetime. We were more than prepared after watching the first season of the Rome TV series on HBO. We rented an apartment in the thick of the tourism and set off to see the Eternal City...and it was absolutely pouring!

It was pouring at the Colosseo...

So we headed for St. Peter's and the Vatican Museum.....clearly we weren't the only ones looking for a little refuge, at least umbrellas were cheap and plentiful!
