Cuzco

We left Mancora and hopped on a first-class overnight bus ride to Lima....scheduled for 14 hours, actually 17. From the bus stop it was a quick cab to the airport and a plane ride to Cuzco.

We had one night at 12,000 feet...we saw some sights and discovered the Rocoto Relleno, the Peruvian version of the classic Chili Relleno...delicioso!

The next morning we witnessed the graduation ceremony in the main square of Cuzco, complete with music and angels....Kati and Darren were out there somewhere..

Cristal...the Champagne of Peruvian beers

We all jumped on the Peru Rail train for the last leg to Macchu Pichu. It was a beautiful and very comfortable ride, we even got a pretty good snack, and plenty of Inka Cola
