Olympia (better late than never)

This day trip turned out to be a perfect complement to our tour of past and present olympic sites (LA 1992 we flew out of LAX, Athens 2000, Sydney 2004, China? 2008, Qatar a 2016 canidate, New York 19?? winter games, Mexico City 197?, and Olympia 776 BC). Crazy..........Well as you can see we really got into the Olympic spirit. Sally is so slow...

The Winged Nike was killer.....Sallys fav.....Very impressive. The centerpiece of the Olympia museum, which was very cool lots of old stuff.

"Leonides........." the helmets were my favorites, this museum had the largest collection of greek helmets in the world....
